| Reverse description | Fully colorized anamorphic artwork covering the entire reverse field in the Art Nouveau tradition. To the upper left, a dreaming female figure with flowing curly hair inclines her head pensively, her bare shoulders draped in floral garments and surrounded by large golden peonies and lush botanical foliage rendered in vivid polychrome. At centre, a circular tondo framed by elaborate scrolling baroque grotesque ornament encloses a nocturnal landscape with luminescent red-capped mushrooms. A kingfisher perches upon an ornate cartouche in the upper right field, and a masked face emerges from the decorative stonework below the tondo. The lower field resolves into a large symmetrical dragon skull rendered in low relief, with red accents at the jaw, integrating seamlessly with the surrounding Art Nouveau architectural ornamentation; an artist's monogram appears near the right rim. |
