| Opis rewersu | A richly detailed and colourized high-relief composition depicts the busts of Pharaoh Amenhotep IV and Queen Nefertiti facing one another in an intimate pose, rendered in polished white relief against a gilded field. Amenhotep IV is shown wearing the striped blue and white nemes headdress adorned with a uraeus and red gem accents, and holds a crook sceptre. Nefertiti wears her characteristic flat-topped blue crown with polychrome banded decoration and elaborate jewellery including large disc earrings and a broad collar necklace. The background features incised Egyptian hieroglyphic motifs and stylised palm fronds, enhancing the ancient Egyptian aesthetic of the design. |
