备注

The Cabral-Paulson signature combination places this note in a narrow window: Paulson was confirmed as Treasury Secretary in June 2006 and left in January 2009, while Cabral served as Treasurer from 2004 to 2009. Notes bearing both signatures were produced across several Federal Reserve districts, each identifiable by the letter-number prefix on the serial number — a detail that drives significant collector subspecialty interest in this series.

This is the pre-redesign $100, before the 2013 introduction of the blue 3-D security ribbon and bell-in-inkwell feature. The 1996-series security architecture — color-shifting ink, embedded thread, microprinting — was still considered adequate at the time of printing.
