| 表面の説明 | At left, a greater bird of paradise is rendered in brown intaglio against a multicolour guilloche underprint in blue, red, and pink tones. The national arms of Trinidad and Tobago occupy an oval intaglio vignette at centre, inscribed with the national motto TOGETHER WE ASPIRE TOGETHER WE ACHIEVE, enclosed within elaborate scrollwork and fine-line geometric borders. Denomination numerals appear at lower left and lower right, the issuer title arches across the top, the legend ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS runs along the lower margin, and an optically variable device shield is affixed at right. |

The 2006 series marked a significant redesign for Trinidad and Tobago's highest circulating denomination, introducing an optically variable device at a time when the country's energy export revenues were driving substantial foreign exchange volumes — making a credible high-denomination note a practical necessity rather than a ceremonial one. De La Rue's involvement with the Eastern Caribbean and wider Caribbean issuers during this period meant the security specification here closely tracked contemporary regional upgrades.
Two signatures appear: Ewart S. Williams, who governed the Central Bank from 1997 to 2012, and Jwala Rambarran, who would later succeed him as Governor in 2012.
