| 备注 |
The 1937 series was the Bank of Canada's second issue, replacing the 1935 bilingual notes that had drawn complaints for crowding both English and French text onto a single face. The solution was straightforward: a single design with language alternating by denomination and province of circulation, though the $100 was distributed nationally regardless.
Two signature combinations exist for this note. Osborne served as Deputy Governor only briefly before his death in 1938, making his pairing with Towers the scarcer of the two. Skelton, who replaced him, signed through the end of the series run.
