Descrizione del dritto	The obverse presents a central intaglio vignette of a classical female figure reclining and writing, set within an oval frame at left, with fine guilloche underprint throughout. The upper portion carries the bank title in bold letterpress, with the place of issue reading 'Bridgetown, Barbados' and the date '2nd January 1922' positioned to the right. Denomination counters reading '100' appear at the four corners and within an ornate cartouche at centre-right, accompanied by the inscription 'IN BARBADOS CURRENCY' and the text 'ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS IN BARBADOS CURRENCY' in a lower panel.

Descrizione del rovescio	The reverse is executed in intaglio and displays the bank's heraldic vignette at centre, comprising a shield with a sailing vessel, flanked by two allegorical figures — a male figure representing industry or commerce at left and a female figure holding a sheaf of wheat at right — each standing on ornate scroll-work. A Union Jack surmounts the central arms above. Large '100' numerals occupy the left and right fields within decorative guilloche panels, with a repeating '100' micro-text border running along all four edges.
