Reverse description The reverse is printed in green intaglio on a fine guilloche background, centered on a large heraldic vignette of the bank's coat of arms supported by a sailor at left and a figure at right, with the motto VIS UNITA FORTIOR on a ribbon below. The bank title THE BANK OF BRITISH NORTH AMERICA arches across the top, and the denomination ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS appears in a panel at the bottom center. The numeral 100 is set in large counters at each corner within intricate lathe-work borders.
