Obverse description	The obverse is printed on polymer substrate and carries an intaglio portrait of Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah in traditional dress at right, with a large vignette of simpor flowers (Dillenia suffruticosa) in the centre. An arch-shaped window at left encloses a view of a mosque rendered in colour-shifting ink with latent image properties, set against a guilloche underprint in orange and gold tones. The denomination B$100 appears in the upper right corner alongside the royal crest, with the serial number printed vertically at far right.

Reverse description	The reverse presents a finely engraved landscape vignette of Pulau Chermin (Mirror Island), rendered in brown intaglio with lush tropical vegetation and calm waters, occupying the central and left portions of the note. At right, a colour-shifting arch-shaped window mirrors that on the obverse and encloses a holographic image of a mosque dome that shifts between purple and gold. The denomination B$100 and bilingual text appear in the lower portion against a pale guilloche underprint.
