Obverse description Bare-headed effigy of King Mohammed VI facing right, occupying the centre field of the silver-toned inner disc. The portrait is rendered in high relief with finely detailed facial features in a contemporary style. Encircling the effigy within the bimetallic outer ring is the Arabic legend reading 'المملكة المغربية محمد السادس' (The Kingdom of Morocco, Mohammed VI). The dual date '2012 - 1433' appears in the lower exergue, referencing the Gregorian and Hijri calendars respectively. The outer ring bears a decorative rope-pattern border.
