This particular issue ran alongside the bank's gradual shift toward polymer substrates for lower denominations, making it one of the last high-value UAE notes to stay on cotton paper for an extended print run.
Pick 30 is sometimes confused with the earlier P#29 series due to overlapping date ranges in dealer listings — the distinction lies in the security thread specification and subtle color register changes introduced in 2012.
