| Opis rewersu | A highly detailed high-relief depiction of the Trevi Fountain (Fontana di Trevi) in Rome, rendered across the full rectangular field of the coin. The grand Baroque facade is shown in its entirety, featuring the central arch with the triumphal figure of Oceanus (Neptune) commanding a shell-shaped chariot drawn by sea horses and Tritons in the lower register. Allegorical figures occupy flanking niches, with winged angels and papal heraldic devices adorning the upper cornice. Inscriptions from the fountain's dedicatory frieze are visible across the entablature, and the composition is presented as a mosaic-style panel divided into a grid of individual segments. |
