| Obverse description | Central field features the Tunisian national coat of arms, a shield bearing a galley ship at chief, scales of justice and a lion passant in the body, all rendered in high relief. Surmounting the shield is the national emblem comprising a crescent and star within a circle. An Arabic circular legend reading 'الجمهورية التونسية' (The Tunisian Republic) arcs around the upper periphery, flanked by decorative arabesque ornaments at either side.
