背面描述 A stylized design featuring a large sweeping wing or flame motif curving across the field from lower left to upper right, incorporating within it a crescent and star device at lower left. In the upper portion of the field, the Arabic inscription for 'Presidential and Legislative Elections' is rendered in three lines in a bold, modern Arabic script. The dates '1425' and '2004' appear in the central field below the wing motif. The Arabic legend commemorating the 17th anniversary of the 7 November change arcs around the lower periphery of the coin, with a further commemorative inscription disposed vertically along the right margin.

附加信息

The "Change of 7 November" refers to the bloodless coup of November 7, 1987, in which Prime Minister Zine El Abidine Ben Ali had President Habib Bourguiba declared medically unfit for office and assumed the presidency. Ben Ali used the anniversary as a recurring commemorative anchor throughout his rule, and by 2004 the 7 November iconography had become institutionalized state mythology. The elections marked on this coin were widely criticized by international observers as neither free nor competitive — Ben Ali won with over 94% of the reported vote.
