Serbia has issued Tesla-themed collector coins with some regularity, but this 2023 entry leans into the "anti-gravity" fringe — a reference to Tesla's later speculative work on dynamic theory of gravity, which he claimed to have developed but never published in full before his death in 1943. Whether that omission was deliberate or the notes simply lost amid the disorder of his New York hotel room remains unresolved. The FBI seized his papers immediately after his death under the Alien Property Custodian Act, despite Tesla having held U.S. citizenship since 1891.
