Obverse description The state arms of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia occupy the central field, depicting a shield bearing a torch with flames rising from a wreath of wheat ears, tied at the base with a ribbon inscribed with the date 29·XI·1943, commemorating the founding of the AVNOJ assembly. A five-pointed star surmounts the composition. The bilingual circular legend reads in Cyrillic at left and in Latin script at right, with the denomination expressed below as Д 100 D in large numerals flanked by the Cyrillic and Latin abbreviations for dinar.
