| Reverse description | The central design features a large stylised numeral '40' rendered as a bold graphic motif, with three vertical torch-like elements forming the left stroke of the numeral. Within the circular element of the '40' appears a right-facing portrait bust of Marshal Josip Broz Tito in civilian dress. A five-pointed star is positioned at the lower junction of the design. The commemorative dates 1945 and 1985 flank the base of the motif. The surrounding legend, running along the periphery in Latin script, reads: ČETRDESET GODINA OSLOBOĐENJA JUGOSLAVIJE I POBEDE NAD FAŠIZMOM. |
