| 表面の説明 | At center, the monogram of the Yugoslav National Bank (ЈНБ) rendered as a stylized interlocked design set within a square cartouche with chamfered corners, occupying the central field. The bilingual legend surrounds the central device, reading in Latin script at the top 'SR JUGOSLAVIJA' and in Cyrillic script at the bottom 'СР JУГОСЛАВИJА', both arching along the coin's periphery. The entire design is framed by a raised beaded border. |

By 1993, Yugoslavia's inflation rate had already eclipsed anything in modern European history outside the Weimar period, and it was accelerating. This brass 100 Dinara was issued as part of a frantic series of redenominations — the dinar would be replaced, revalued, and replaced again multiple times within two years, ultimately culminating in the 500 billion dinar note of early 1994. Coins of this denomination circulated for weeks, not months, before their face value became arithmetically absurd.
