Opmerkingen

The Narodna Banka Srpske Republike Bosne i Hercegovine — the central bank of the Republika Srpska's predecessor entity — was established in early 1992 as Bosnian Serb political authorities moved to create parallel institutions ahead of the April war. Notes for this bank were printed at the ZIN facility in Belgrade, a logistical arrangement that reflects how completely the new issuer depended on the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia's infrastructure during those first months.

With over twelve million printed, the issue was substantial, but hyperinflation across the former Yugoslav successor states meant high nominal output translated to negligible purchasing power almost immediately.
