Intaglio vignette of a young woman in traditional Yugoslav national costume at left, rendered with fine engraved detail against a landscape background. The issuing authority inscription appears at upper right within an ornate guilloche border, with the denomination numeral 100 in a central cartouche rendered in multiple scripts; two manuscript signatures appear below, flanking the date BEOGRAD, 1 MAJ 1955, with a two-letter serial prefix and six-digit serial number in red at lower centre.

Reverse description Multicolour. A large central vignette presents a panoramic intaglio view of the walled coastal city of Dubrovnik (Ragusa), rendered in polychrome with blue Adriatic waters in the foreground and cypress trees to the right. The denomination 100 appears in four ornate foliate cornerpieces, with the names of the Yugoslav constituent republics and the full bilingual state title inscribed in Cyrillic and Latin script in bands above and below the central vignette; counterfeit warning texts in four languages run along the lower register.
