| Obverse description | Bare-headed, right-facing effigy of Emperor Francis Joseph I, rendered in high relief with finely detailed facial features including a prominent mutton-chop beard and mustache characteristic of his later portraits. The truncation of the bust is sharply defined, with the engraver's signature ST. SCHWARTZ inscribed in small capitals along the lower truncation. A continuous Latin legend encircles the effigy, separated from the rim by a border of raised beads. The portrait reflects the restrained Neo-Classical style favored by the Vienna Mint in the late imperial period. |

| Reverse description | The Austrian imperial double-headed eagle, displayed with wings spread, occupies the central field; each head is crowned separately and the eagle bears the composite Habsburg arms on its breast. The talons clasp a sword and an orb. The Roman numeral date MDCCCCXV arcs across the upper field flanking the legend C CORONAE, while the Arabic denomination 100 COR. appears in the lower field beneath the eagle's tail, and the Arabic year 1915 is inscribed along the lower rim. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border, and decorative acanthus scrollwork fills the space below the eagle. |
