Reverse description Printed entirely in purple. A finely engraved intaglio vignette of a classical Liberty head in right-facing profile, wreathed with laurel and oak leaves, set within an oval frame at centre. Denomination numeral "100" appears in large figures to either side, flanked by elaborate lathe-work guilloche rosettes, with the bank name in bold serif lettering below.
