背面描述	Printed in olive monochrome, the reverse centres on an intaglio portrait vignette of Christopher Columbus in profile within a circular guilloche frame, flanked by elaborate lathe-work panels and large numeral denominators "100" at each corner. The issuer's title runs along the top border, with the imprint of the American Bank Note Company at the lower margin and a date line reading "San Salvador" at lower right.

备注	The Banco Central de Reserva de El Salvador was itself only established in 1934, making this 100 Colones one of the earliest notes the institution ever produced. El Salvador had abolished the gold standard and centralized currency issuance partly in response to the catastrophic collapse of coffee prices during the Depression — the colón had replaced the peso just three years earlier, in 1931, and the new central bank was tasked with stabilizing a monetary system still raw from that transition. ABNC's New York plant handled the full production run. The 1934–1937 date range reflects sequential issue batches rather than a redesign.
