The denomination numeral '100' appears in a large guilloche medallion at centre, flanked by the bank title 'BANCO INTERNACIONAL DE COSTA RICA' at the top and the legend 'PAGARÁ AL PORTADOR LA CANTIDAD DE CIEN COLONES' below.
