| 备注 |
The Banco Comercial de Costa Rica was one of several private commercial banks authorized to issue currency under Costa Rica's free banking period, which persisted until the government moved to consolidate note-issuing authority in the early twentieth century. The Banco Comercial lost its issuing privileges when the Banco Internacional de Costa Rica was established in 1914, effectively ending the era of competing private-bank circulation notes in the country.
American Bank Note Company's New York plant produced notes for dozens of Latin American private banks during this window, and the Banco Comercial series is among the less frequently encountered. The 1906–1911 date range suggests plates were used across multiple issue dates rather than a single print run.
