The central field carries a dense polychrome guilloche rosette with the large numeral '100' superimposed, beneath the issuer legend 'EL BANCO CENTRAL DE BOLIVIA' across the top and the denomination 'CIEN BOLIVIANOS' below centre, with the place and law date 'LA PAZ, LEY DE 20 DE DICIEMBRE DE 1945' at lower left.
