Descrizione del dritto	The obverse is printed in red and orange tones over a pale guilloche underprint, with the bank title 'BANCO CENTRAL DE BOLIVIA' running across the top margin and the denomination 'CIEN BOLIVIANOS' rendered in large intaglio lettering at centre. A portrait vignette of a mustachioed gentleman is positioned in the right field against an ornate guilloche rosette, while the numeral '100' appears in the lower corners and two serial numbers are printed across the face of the note.

'BANCO CENTRAL DE BOLIVIA' runs along the upper margin, 'CIEN BOLIVIANOS' appears at the base, the numeral '100' is repeated in corner panels, and a guilloche rosette occupies the left field as a decorative counterpart to the building vignette.
