| Descrizione del rovescio | The reverse features an elaborate symmetrical composition inspired by pre-Columbian Panamanian indigenous art, rendered in high relief. Stylized serpentine and zoomorphic motifs derived from ancient goldwork traditions fill the field, incorporating curvilinear scrollwork and anthropomorphic figures characteristic of the Coclé culture. A horizontal rectangular cartouche bisects the design at center, within which the date 1984 is incused. The entire design is enclosed by a beaded inner border running the circumference of the coin, reflecting the intricate craftsmanship of Panama's pre-Columbian heritage. |
