| Obverse description | Central vignette of Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn) occupies the left portion, rendered in fine intaglio line work against a guilloche underprint in rose-brown tones. A portrait of King Rama VIII (Ananda Mahidol) in military uniform appears at right within an ornate frame, flanked by classical Thai decorative borders. Thai inscription รัฐบาลไทย (Thai Government) and the denomination หนึ่งร้อยบาท (One Hundred Baht) are printed centrally, with serial numbers and two manuscript signatures below. |
