Obverse description Conjoined busts of King Rama IX (Bhumibol Adulyadej), wearing spectacles and traditional royal regalia with ornate embroidered robes, and Queen Sirikit, both facing right, rendered in high relief. A small royal emblem appears at the left field and another decorative royal device at the right field. The lower legend, separated by bullet points, reads in Thai script: the Buddhist Era date '๒๕๓๔' at lower left, 'ประเทศไทย' (Thailand) at centre, and '๑๐๐ บาท' (100 Baht) at lower right.
