Opmerkingen

Pick 97 was Thailand's longest-running 100 baht type of the modern era, printed across nearly a decade by the Bank of Thailand's own in-house facility — which had been producing notes since 1969, one of relatively few central banks in Southeast Asia with full domestic printing capacity at that time. The series outlasted two constitutional crises and the 1997 Asian financial crisis, during which the baht lost roughly half its value against the dollar following the float of July 2, 1997.

Heavy circulation across that period means heavily worn examples are the norm, not the exception.
