Printed in red on white cotton paper, the obverse carries a portrait vignette of the young King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) at left, dressed in military uniform. At centre-right, an intaglio vignette presents the ceremonial entrance gate of Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha) flanked by guardian statues. The Thai title รัฐบาล ไทย (Government of Thailand) is inscribed at top centre within an ornate guilloche border, with the denomination ร้อยบาท (One Hundred Baht) rendered in Thai script below the serial number. |

The reverse, printed entirely in red, is dominated by a large intaglio vignette of the Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall in Bangkok, rendered in fine line-engraving detail with trees in the foreground. The denomination appears in Thai numerals (๑๐๐) at upper left and in Arabic numerals (100) at upper right, both set within elaborate guilloche panels. A multi-line Thai inscription runs along the lower portion of the note, and the printer's imprint THOMAS DE LA RUE & COMPANY LIMITED, LONDON is present at the bottom centre. |
