| Obverse description | Central device depicts a double-headed eagle displayed, superimposed upon a cross pattée, with a heraldic shield at its breast bearing a stylized floral motif. The eagle's two crowned heads face outward to either side. The date 1966 appears in the lower portion of the field, flanked by small mint marks. The circular legend in Greek reading ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΟΝ ΤΑΓΜΑ ΙΠΠΟΤΩΝ ΑΓΙΟΥ ΔΙΟΝΥΣΙΟΥ ΖΑΚΥΝΘΟΥ runs along the entire periphery. |
