Opmerkingen

Da Afghanistan Bank began issuing De La Rue-printed notes following the central bank's formal establishment in 1939, and by the 1960s the relationship was well-established — this 1967 series represented one of the last conventionally printed Afghan issues before the political turbulence of the 1970s severely disrupted currency management. De La Rue's work for Afghanistan during this period was competent but unhurried; the watermark security was minimal by contemporary standards even for developing-nation contracts.

The cotton substrate is consistent with De La Rue's standard specification for Afghan orders of the period.
