| Reverse description | The central design depicts the Monument to the Fallen Shipyard Workers of 1970, a triple-cross memorial structure with anchors, rendered in bold relief against a panoramic skyline of the historic Old Town of Gdańsk, including the tower of St. Mary's Basilica and other characteristic Gothic spires in the background. Across the lower centre of the field, the word SOLIDARNOŚĆ (Solidarity) is inscribed in a distinctive stylized script recalling the Solidarity trade union's iconic lettering.
