| Obverse description | The national emblem of the People's Republic of China occupies the central field, depicting Tiananmen Gate beneath a large five-pointed star flanked by four smaller stars, all set within a circular border of wheat ears tied with a ribbon at the base. The emblem is rendered in high relief against a finely finished gold field. The legend 中华人民共和国 (People's Republic of China) arcs around the upper periphery in Chinese characters. Decorative scroll and floral motifs frame the composition in the outer border. The year of issue, 2013, appears in the lower exergue. |
