| Obverse description | Single-sided Notgeld voucher (Gutschein) printed in dark brown on plain paper, enclosed within an ornate rectangular border composed of repeating geometric and foliate cartouches with diamond and oval motifs at the corners. The denomination "Einhunderttausend Mark" is set in large bold Gothic letterpress type across the upper central field, with the series designation "Lit. A" at upper left and a handwritten serial number at upper right. Below the denomination, a block of justified Gothic text states the redemption conditions and expiry date of 30 September 1923, followed by the place and date of issue "Herzogenrath, den 12. August 1923" and the issuer's name "Herzogenrather Glaswerke Bicheroux & Cie. G.m.b.H." with a manuscript signature. |
