The denomination HUNDERTTAUSEND MARK is set in large bold type at centre, above which the issuer legend appears in Fraktur script; the numeral Mk. 100000 is placed to the lower left with a serial number to the right. The date München, den 24. August 1923 is printed below the denomination, beneath which the Bavarian lozenge arms appear as a central vignette flanked by two facsimile signature panels inscribed Der Vorstand and Der Aufsichtsrat, the latter accompanied by the title Staatsminister a. D. |

A vertical anti-counterfeiting warning in smaller Fraktur type runs along the left margin, and a note regarding public announcement of the expiry date occupies the right margin column. |
