| Obverse description | Blue letterpress on cream paper, the note is framed by an intricate guilloche border of interlocking geometric and star motifs. The denomination HUNDERTTAUSEND MARK is set in large bold type at centre, above which the issuer legend appears in Fraktur script; the numeral Mk. 100000 is placed to the lower left with a serial number to the right. The date München, den 24. August 1923 is printed below the denomination, beneath which the Bavarian lozenge arms appear as a central vignette flanked by two facsimile signature panels inscribed Der Vorstand and Der Aufsichtsrat, the latter accompanied by the title Staatsminister a. D. |
