RHEIN at the top, with the denomination 100 000 repeated on either side of the word GUTSCHEIN. The large central legend HUNDERTTAUSEND MARK is set in bold gothic display type, below which a block of text states the redemption conditions and the issuing authority. At the bottom, the date GODESBERG, 16. AUGUST 1923 flanks a central vignette of the town's heraldic castle, accompanied by two circular Bürgermeisteramt eagle stamps on the left and right and a manuscript signature to the right of the coat of arms. |
