Obverse description Notgeld issued on ochre-toned paper with a fine guilloche underprint incorporating a spread eagle watermark-like vignette at centre. The denomination 'Hunderttausend Mark' is set in large Gothic blackletter script within a curved ribbon cartouche at centre, with the value '100,000 M.' and issuing authority 'Dortmund-Hörde' printed in the underprint across the upper field. A circular embossed seal of the Stadt Dortmund bearing an eagle appears at lower left, with two manuscript signatures of the Magistrat below the text block, and the printer's imprint 'Druck: W. Crüwell, Dortmund' at the foot.
