| Obverse description | Dark purple letterpress printing on cream paper with a decorative dotted border framing the entire note. The denomination numeral '100000' appears in a rectangular cartouche at the top centre, beneath which the value 'Hunderttausend Mark' is rendered in large Gothic Fraktur script with ornamental flourishes. The issuing text, date, series letter, and serial number in red are arranged in the lower half, with a dry-stamp (Trockenstempel) seal visible at centre and the Oberbürgermeister's manuscript signature at lower right. Marginal legends run vertically on both sides and horizontally along top and bottom, noting redemption conditions. |
