The centre is occupied by a detailed line-engraved vignette of the historic Bautzen skyline, with the Alte Wasserkunst tower and the cathedral rising above a riverside townscape. A circular official stamp of the Amtshauptmannschaft Bautzen bearing the Saxon arms is affixed at the foot of the vignette, with the series designation 'Reihe B' and a red serial number to the lower left and right respectively, and a validity notice printed in two columns flanking the stamp. |
