| Obverse description | The obverse of this revalued emergency issue is dominated by an elaborate red guilloche underprint over the original 10 Dinara note design. A large blue typographed revaluation overprint at centre reads "NOVČANI BON 100 000" with "STO HILJADA DINARA" below it, framed within a scalloped border. To the right, the issuing authority name in both Latin and Cyrillic scripts appears above the Governor's manuscript signature, with the revaluation date "10. XI 1993" and original issue date "1. Bosnia's 1993 hyperinflation was among the most severe of the Yugoslav successor-state crises, and denominations escalated so rapidly that notes like this 100,000 Dinar issue became obsolete within weeks of printing. Cetis in Celje — a Slovenian security printer that had supplied the former Yugoslav federal printing needs — became the go-to press for several breakaway republics simultaneously, a logistical situation that strained its capacity and contributed to the relatively thin security feature profile on many Bosnian wartime issues.
The watermark is the sole security element, a notably sparse specification for a note of this face value, reflecting the urgency of production over fraud prevention.
