| Obverse description | Printed in black letterpress over an orange underprint on cream paper, the obverse carries the bold gothic denomination '100 000 000' at the top, below which the spelled-out value 'Einhundert Millionen Mark' appears in large Fraktur type, all enclosed within double-rule borders. The Thuringian coat of arms — a shield charged with a row of stars — occupies the lower left, set against a dense underprint of repeated numerals, while the place and date of issue 'Weimar, den 9.
