| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in red on cream paper, framed by a decorative double border with ornamental corner squares. The title 'Gutschein' is set in large Gothic Fraktur script across the upper field above an arabesque guilloche underprint, with the denomination '100.000.000.- Mark' in bold letterpress numerals at centre and the written-out value 'Einhundert Millionen Mk.' below. To the lower left, an oval official municipality stamp of 'Gemeinde Altkloster, Kreis Stade' is applied, and to the lower right appears the manuscript signature of the Gemeindevorstand above the issuing authority title, with the date 'Altkloster, 1.
