Obverse description The obverse is printed on a salmon-orange guilloche underprint and framed by an ornate typographic border. The denomination 'Hundert Milliarden Mark' is set in large blackletter Gothic script across the upper centre, above which the word 'GUTSCHEIN.' appears as the principal heading. A small oval vignette with a geometric lattice pattern occupies the centre, flanked by two sprigs of foliage. The lower portion carries the issuing authority 'Reichsverkehrsministerium, Zweigstelle Bayern.' along with the place and date 'München, am 26. Oktober 1923.' and a manuscript signature; a detachable coupon at right bears the numeral denomination '100 Milliarden' in large blackletter type, the serial number in red, and a counterfoil warning text against forgery.
Obverse lettering GUTSCHEIN.

Reverse description The reverse shows the show-through of the obverse printing on plain uncoated paper, with the blackletter text and guilloche pattern visible in mirror image. No independent design elements are present on this side, consistent with a single-sided emergency currency Gutschein of the hyperinflationary period.
