Obverse description The obverse features the crowned Polish eagle of the People's Republic of Poland (PRL), displayed with spread wings and a shield bearing a smaller eagle on its breast, rendered in bold relief at the center of the field. The denomination '10 ZŁ' is prominently superimposed over the body of the eagle. The circular legend 'POLSKA · RZECZPOSPOLITA · LUDOWA' runs along the upper periphery, while the date '· 1970 ·' and the mint mark 'mw' appear in the lower exergual area. The design is executed in a clean, modernist style characteristic of mid-twentieth-century Polish coinage.
