Reverse description The reverse depicts a mounted lancer (ułan) of the Second Polish Republic in full dress uniform, seated erect on a walking horse rendered in fine detail at the centre of the rectangular field. Diagonally across the upper portion of the field, a cavalry sabre is displayed with the motto 'Honor i Ojczyzna' (Honour and Fatherland) engraved along its blade. The legend 'UŁAN II' appears along the left border and 'RZECZYPOSPOLITEJ' along the right border, both oriented vertically. The engraver's initials 'K' are visible in the lower left area of the field.
