| Beschrijving keerzijde | The central field features a multiplied, stylized silhouette of a human figure, repeated in a rhythmic pattern to suggest universality and collective humanity. Flanking the central composition, outstretched hands are depicted in a gesture of protection and embrace. A semicircular inscription arcing across the upper portion of the field reads 'POWSZECHNA DEKLARACJA PRAW CZŁOWIEKA' (Universal Declaration of Human Rights), commemorating the 50th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration. |

Issued to mark the 50th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, adopted by the UN General Assembly on 10 December 1948. Poland was among the original UN member states present for that vote — notably abstaining rather than voting in favor, a decision made under Soviet pressure alongside the other Eastern Bloc states, South Africa, and Saudi Arabia.
