Obverse description Bare-headed right-facing effigy of Tsar Alexander I of Russia, rendered as King of Poland, occupying the central field in high relief with finely detailed curly hair and a classically inspired portrait style. The truncation of the bust is plain and unadorned. A continuous circular legend in Latin surrounds the effigy, reading ALEXANDER I CESARZ SA·W·ROS·KROL POLSKI, identifying him as Emperor and Autocrat of All Russia and King of Poland. The legend is separated from the inner field by a fine dentillated border running along the coin's rim.
